SYM, short for Sanyang Industry, is a Taiwanese manufacturer of motorcycles, scooters and quads founded in Taiwan. It is known for mass market scooters such as the Symphony and Mio ranges, as well as small displacement motorcycles and ATVs sold widely across Asia and Europe. The occasional generator or power equipment items seen under the name are not typical of its core output, which remains two and three wheeled vehicles. Founded 1954. Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
