Gruen was an American watchmaking company founded in Cincinnati, Ohio, known for producing fine dress and wristwatches in the early to mid twentieth century. It gained particular renown for its curved Curvex movements designed to fit the natural contour of the wrist. The original Gruen company ceased independent operations decades ago, though the name has since been revived for watch lines under various owners. Founded 1874.
